My mission began 7 years ago when I was a fully qualified barber/hairdresser. While working under experienced barbers & hairdressers in many barbershops & salons. I always struggled to find products that I thought would aid in my hair health and slow down my hair loss while being primarily used for styling. My hair loss and poor hair & beard health were influenced by many factors, including so-called hair care products made for softening, detangling, styling, and hydrating hair or beards, which ended up damaging my hair and increasing fallout at a rapid rate. It was only 4 years after being qualified and having enough experience, being exposed to many products, and gaining experience and knowledge of the hair care industry, that I finally created my own products.

During those 4 years, I conducted a lot of research, testing, and trialling many formulations of potent natural ingredients on myself, friends, family, and customers. I narrowed down the recipes to a handful of key natural ingredients that finally brought forth results. These results ranged from dead, dry hairs repairing back to well-nourished, dull and discoloured strands regaining a healthy glow, clear to white baby hairs being stimulated to grow thicker, darker, and more youthful, all while being a product primarily made for styling hair or beards. These are just some of the results found by many family, friends, and clients using these 3 formulas to take care of their hair health.

I can say, after many years of research, I am happy to finally bring forth my creation to the public to help others on their hair & beard care journey. I always found that I needed products that would take care of my hair and beard health like a toothbrush, toothpaste, flossing, and mouthwash would take care of my teeth, while being a more natural alternative.

The name STANDRD came to me when I would ask customers how they would like their hair cut today, and they would simply say ‘oh, just the standard,’ or if they wanted to purchase a styling product for their hair after their service was finished and they would say, ‘just give me the standard.’ Thus, STANDRD was born, where every day we are working towards setting the standard in the combination of both styling & hair & beard care!”
